Study Manager (Job Code: WW/NH4/7939) We are currently seeking a motivated individual with a minimum of 10 years of management experience for the overall responsibility of activities at a field site and directly supervising an office team of 4 persons and up to 18 household interviewers at any one time. This federally mandated health study is being conducted for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Center for Health Statistics. Full time continuous travel is required as counties across the United State are selected to participate in the study. Field office teams work in 5 sites a year, remaining in each site for about 9 weeks. Candidates must be available to work a minimum 40 hours per week to include evening and weekends; and have the ability to perform the principal duties and responsibilities of the position. Qualifications include supervision/management experience, strong interpersonal skills, experience working with local media and dignitaries, computer skills, work within research protocol, manage and assign case work, work in a goal oriented environment, work cooperatively and build a team; other related duties will be given as required.
A valid driver's license required and candidates undergo a federally mandated background security and driving record check. Pay rates are based on experience. There is a super-long thread on wahm (and other wah forums, I am sure) about this company. I pulled the following information to give you a general idea.
The job you want to apply for is "Records Retriever", This is all phone and computer work, but no selling. You are calling specific Dr's offices to collect medical records on specific patients. The training is unpaid, and does take awhile to get thru but the job is worth it if you like phone jobs. The more cases you can handel the more money you make. VOIP service is used for the phone so you must have a High Speed internet connection, and also need a customer service background. Because of the nature of the information you have and will be dealing with before they hire you the will ask you to send a copy of your picture ID and your SSN # so they can do the background check. Compensation for the job is $4.00 per case that records are retrieved. You are paid every 2 weeks but you will not get your first check untill you have worked for them 1 month.
